Brad Gipson, DPM received his medical degree from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in 2003. His surgical residency and post-doctoral training was completed at the Miami Veterans Affair’s Hospital in Miami, Florida, where he served as Chief Resident in forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery. He has also received specialized training in diabetic and non-diabetic wound care management. Prior to podiatry school, he received his bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of the Cumberlands.
His research on the effectiveness of hyulronate injections in the ankle for osteoarthritis and degenerative joint disease has been published in the International Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He continues his wound treatment and training as an attending physician at the Ft. Sanders Wound Center. He is on staff with Tennova Healthcare and Ft. Sanders Regional Hospital.
Dr. Gipson is originally from Clinton, Tennessee and is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys fishing, hunting, hiking and competitive sport shooting. Dr. Gipson and his wife recently had a beautiful baby girl and he looks forward to spoiling her.
