Dr. Cole Hosenfeld is a chiropractic physician with a post-doctoral board certification in sports medicine through the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (ACBSP). He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in human biology from Logan University before receiving his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Mo. The Tennessee Chiropractic Association named Dr. Cole “Chiropractor of the Year” in 2012 and “Young Chiropractor of the Year” in 2003. Currently, he serves as a member of the Tennessee Board of Chiropractic Examiners by appointment from Governor Bill Haslam. Dr. Hosenfeld was elected to the Tennessee Chiropractic Association (TCA) board of directors in 2003 and ultimately held the position of President. In addition, he has sat on the national board of directors of the Council on Chiropractic Guidelines and Practice Parameters (CCGPP).
He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Tennessee Chiropractic Association, American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians, and the Tennessee Valley Chiropractic Association. Dr. Cole is the primary author of Chiropractic Therapy Assistants, A Clinical Resource Guide, which is the recommended textbook, utilized by chiropractic therapy assistants in Tennessee and is expanding nationally. He is also an adjunct staff lecturer to TCA for continuing education programs and is an extension faculty member of Life University. As an avid learner, Dr. Cole consistently seeks to engage and learn cutting-edge concepts and treatments for the benefit of his patients.
In his off time, Dr. Cole, enjoys exercising, woodworking, reading, hiking, and spending time with his wife, Jana, and two daughters, Jane and Clara.
Dr. Chris Hosenfeld is a Board-Certified Chiropractic Rehabilitation Doctor. He earned Bachelor of Science degree in human biology from University of Missouri-Columbia before receiving his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Mo. He founded Hosenfeld Chiropractic (which is now Apple Health and Wellness) in 1987. He has served as team chiropractor for St. Louis Golden Gloves, Knoxville Rugby Club, Knoxville Gymnastic Training Center, Premier Gymnastics Center, the Knoxville Cherokees Hockey Team and, since 2000, the University of Tennessee Women’s Athletic Department. He has been a member of the Tennessee Chiropractic Association since 1987 and served on the TCA board of directors for several years. He is also a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the ACA’s Diagnostic Imaging Center and the Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research.
Dr. Chris is happily married to his wife Lynn and is the proud father of three children: Mathew, Collins and Cate. He enjoys fishing, biking and four-wheeling in his time off.
Dr. Andy Hosenfeld received his Bachelor of Science degree and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan College in St. Louis, Mo. He practiced in St. Louis for about a year before moving to Knoxville in 1990. A board-certified chiropractor, Dr. Andy is passionate about seeking out new and innovative treatment options in order to better serve his patients.
He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Tennessee Chiropractic Association and the American College of Rehabilitation. Dr. Andy, a board-certified chiropractor, is an avid lecturer and is frequently asked to speak on health-related topics. He is dedicated in his pursuit of the latest techniques and technologies in order to provide those he serves with the best total body wellness solutions available.
Dr. Andy and his wife, Lucy, have four children: AJ, Alex, Cody and Jenni Grace. He is an active member of Fellowship Church, where he is committed to mentoring young people and teaching leadership skills. Dr. Andy is an exercise enthusiast and avid sportsman.
Dr. Conrad Vaughan is a board-certified chiropractor who earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University’s College of Chiropractic in Atlanta, Ga. Prior to that, he received a Bachelor of Science in zoology and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Tennessee. Practicing chiropractic since 1997, Dr. Vaughan is licensed by the Tennessee Board of Health and is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Tennessee Chiropractic Association and the Tennessee Valley Chiropractic Association. He is the former team physician for the Knoxville Rugby Football Club, and he volunteers on the emergency staff for the Dogwood Invitational gymnastic meets and AYSO soccer tournaments.
Dr. Vaughan and his wife, Shannon, have three children: Austin, Felisha and Bryce.
Danique Howell, DC, MSHS
Dr. Danique Howell received her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Tennessee. After graduating, she joined Apple Health and Wellness as a chiropractic therapy assistant for three years. She left to attend Life University in Marietta, GA where she graduated with honors receiving her Doctorate in Chiropractic and Masters in Sports Health Science.
Danqiue is a member of the Tennessee Chiropractic Association and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. She loves working with children, babies, and expectant mothers, and is currently certified in Webster Technique. She will soon receive her Certification from the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP).
She is married to Lawence Howell, and they welcomed their first child, a little boy, in October of 2014. Danique enjoys sports, reading, being an active member in her church, and spending time with her family.
