Dr. Bradley Gipson, DPM

June 11, 2013 by AppleHW

Brad GipsonDescribe what you do:

I treat people for foot and ankle conditions ranging from surgical connection of hammertoe, bunion, fractures, ingrown nails to conservative care of other common foot problems such as heel pain, neurosis and flat feet. I also treat diabetic foot wounds and do wound prevention.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you like to be?

In East Tennessee on a 10 acre farm near the lake.

What is the one piece of advice you would like to share with the world?

If you ever feel insignificant, think about how a small drop of water can completely change the surface of an entire body of water as it sends ripples through the surface.

What is your favorite holiday and why?

Christmas-being with family.

What is one of your professional goals?

To always treat the patient and not just the diagnosis.

What was it that attracted you to your field?

Our feet are the foundation of how we move and interact with the world. I enjoy the combination of conservative and surgical approach of my profession.

If you had to choose another profession, what would you be doing?

Professional bass fisherman or a professional competitive shooter or a park ranger -or all of the above.
